dc.description.abstractThis chapter examines staff management as a critical function of school administration. It emphasizes that human resources are the most important asset in achieving educational goals and discusses the major personnel functions required for effective school operations. The chapter explores the processes of staff recruitment and selection, highlighting the need to attract, identify, and employ qualified personnel through systematic procedures. It also discusses staff training and development as continuous activities aimed at improving professional competence, productivity, and career growth. Furthermore, the chapter analyzes staff supervision as a means of enhancing instructional quality, professional development, and organizational effectiveness. Finally, it examines staff performance evaluation, its purposes, methods, challenges, and strategies for improvement. The chapter concludes that effective management of recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation is essential for maintaining high standards of teaching and learning and for achieving the objectives of primary education.
