dc.description.abstractUniversity is essentially an academic community dedicated to the pursuit of higher learning and teaching. However, a university is populated mostly by students and staff. There are different categories of students in Nigerian universities environment which include the diploma, first degrees and higher degrees students respectively. The post graduate students belong to the higher degrees category that pursue post graduate diploma, masters, and doctoral degrees which entail more research works that require the services and resources of well equipped and functional libraries. The objectives of post graduate study in any university is for further development of graduate students the spirit of enquiring through training in research in an atmosphere of intellectual independence and individual creativity with a strong sense of group cooperation.
